Our Christmas bazaar is a wonderful festive way to start the Christmas season. This year our bazaar will be held on Saturday November 25 from 10 am to 2 pm.
As in previous years (excluding the pandemic years - of course) we will be offering many and varied items for your enjoyment and purchase.
The needlework and crafts table will have lovely and handmade items including quilts, knitted and crocheted creations as well as lovely fabric advent calendars.
The jewelry table, as always, will have some beautiful "bling".
We will have delicious homemade baking as well as cookie boxes with an assortment of Christmas cookies. Ruth Pepin and her sister Mary will be making deluxe Christmas fruitcakes which will be offered at $20 a pound. If you are interested in these cakes we would ask that you pre-order them. Please speak to Sarah Mathieson if you would like to order one (or more).
In other years we have had preserves of various sorts and are hoping to do so again if we can put a team together.
Our "treasures" table, which offers gently used and interesting objects, often make great gifts or Christmas decor. If you have items that you might like to donate they could be dropped off at the church office or speak to Dovene or Molly.
As well, a delicious lunch of quiche, salad, and dessert of Christmas cake or shortbread and tea or coffee will be available at a cost of $10.
The bazaar is a lovely occasion to gather and celebrate our parish life, but I think it is also in a small way an outreach to the community. If you would like to help and be a part of this please speak to Dovene or Judy.
Thank you to everyone who gives so generously of their time and talents to make our Christmas bazaar such a festive, fun and wonderful event.
