The Feast of the Ascension marks the end of the period of Christ's post-Resurrection earthly presence with the apostles. This event signifies how Christ's ministry becomes ours, as we are now the enfleshed Body of Christ. It is an occasion for renewing our commitment to ministry, grounding ourselves in Creation, and for fellowship with those who make the journey with us.
Join us at St. Mary's at 3PM on May 14th for a contemplative Eucharist followed by a reflective walk together around the grounds and good conversation in the graveyard. Bring picnic snacks if you would like.
