Music Makers of All Saints by-the-Sea Anglican Church is excited to present Michael Fraser as part of our After Dark concert series every Thursday night, 7pm!

Michael is a medicine music artist living on Salt Spring Island with a background in genres such as classical, folk, jazz and beyond. He will be presenting original music specially tailored for this event:

When the moon is full, we can see clearly in the dark both outside and in. Parts of ourselves are revealed through our external world around the full moon, and what needs to be seen.

As the moon begins its waning cycle, we have an opportunity to choose to let go of something we have been holding onto; something we see clearly now which has not been serving us. Consider the old tried stories of woe, guilt and shame that run our mental and emotional environment. Do these stories restrict our breath, our  life force from its deepest flow? Could you benefit from breathing a little deeper and honouring yourself?

Let us come together and gently begin to release our grip from old moldy attachments. Let us become open hearted to the possibility that we are ready to receive the answers which have been prayed for generations ago. Come with an intention to offer yourself what I like to called deep healing, because healing happens when we accept the presence of feelings as they are. Come with an intention to be a with-ness; when we choose to fully see ourselves and others, we aren't just observing, we are meeting the essence of spirit and soul.

At this waning moon serenade, you will be guided through a sound meditation, an invocation of energy through music, and an integrative reflection through journaling and sharing.
