 Thursday\, October 1 at 7pm for an evening of jazz with Daniel Janke Trio!
 \nDaniel Janke is a composer who also plays contemporary jazz and improvis
 ed piano. He is based out of his studio in Whitehorse\, Yukon\, and works 
 regularly in Berlin\, Germany as well as in parts of France. Daniel’s pi
 ano style is heavily influenced by an upbringing in gospel music.\nComposi
 tionally\, his work is eclectic\, moving across many genres and styles. In
 fluences in the jazz genre include Wayne Shorter\, Carla Bley\, and Craig 
 Taborn.\nWith Daniel Janke - piano\, Scott White - bass and Kelby MacNayr 
 - drums\nMusic Makers is proud to curate performances that celebrate artis
 try\, collaboration\, and community. This concert reflects that spirit: mu
 sic created not just to entertain\, but to connect people through shared a
